SBA Staff Scholarship Programme 2024
With over 200+ staff in our 80 branches nationwide the SBA staff scholarship is a great way for SBA staff to improve their training in their job and help with their career in the accounting industry and with SBA Small Business Accounting.
This scholarship could be used to help an admin person get into accounting or into accounts payable and payroll. Or it could help someone on their CA journey. Note this scholarship must be used for an actual accredited course or training program and cannot be used for a oneoff webinar, online tutorial, or towards the cost of a PwC Academy subscription. We also have 5 Xero training scholarships to be won.
About the programme
SBA have 10 scholarships to give away this year each valued up to $1000.
5 successful applicants will receive up to $1000 towards any:
- Accounting industry specific training/course;
- or training that is relevant to their job in an SBA branch – leadership, administration, marketing etc
5 successful applicants will receive:
- Professional Xero training up to the value of $1000 each
Who can apply for a scholarship?
- Permanent part time min 24 hours a week SBA employees
- Full time SBA employees
- Have been with SBA for a minimum of 1 year.
How to Apply
- Simply apply using the form below. Both the SBA staff member and the SBA Franchise owner or branch manager will need to fill in the form.
- Applications will be assessed by the SBA Franchise Development Manager & the SBA CEO.
- Applications close on April 31st 2024.
- Successful applicants will be notified via their branch manager.
Terms & Conditions
These sponsorships are only available for full time SBA employees who have been with SBA for a minimum of 1 year.
For the SBA sponsorship prize:
- Only valid for up to $1000 of course costs per recipient.
- If the training is less than $1000 then only the amount of the training up to $1000 will be supplied and the remainder will be used to support another applicant.
- $1000 only to be used for the cost of the actual course. It will not cover travel, accommodation, food or other course related materials in relation to the course.
- It must be used for an actual accredited industry course and cannot be used for a one-off webinar, online tutorial, or towards the cost of a PwC Academy subscription.
- $1000 or part there/of will only be supplied upon invoice of the course by the SBA branch.
- Xero training
- You must specify on the form if your staff is applying for the Xero training.
