Coachways New Zealand

Driving Growth With a Clear Financial Roadmap

For more than ten years, Coachways Ltd has been transporting passengers across Auckland and beyond. With over 50 employees and steady growth over the years, the business had expanded its operations, but owner David Marsden knew that keeping the wheels turning smoothly required more than operational know-how. To manage volatile cash flow, strengthen financial discipline and plan for future growth, he turned to SBA’s business advisory services.

While David had always relied on SBA for compliance accounting, this was different. It was about building a structured financial framework, anticipating challenges and making strategic decisions with confidence.

Working with an SBA Advisory business advisor, David received hands-on support in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, along with financial modelling and strategic insight tailored to Coachways’ goals. The advice was practical and forward-looking, helping to improve liquidity, prepare for seasonal fluctuations and make informed decisions about funding and growth.

“The business advisory support transformed our financial management from reactive operations to strategic planning. We gained clear budgets, accurate forecasts, and stronger cash flow and with SBA Advisory’s full support, I now have the confidence and structure to grow the business.” David Marsden, Owner, Coachways Ltd.

The results speak for themselves. Cash flow improved, financial discipline strengthened, and the business is now better positioned to scale. Most importantly, David has the reassurance of knowing he has a trusted partner by his side, providing the expertise and strategic guidance to navigate the road ahead.
