2024 SBA Small Business of the Year - Winners!
Our winners have been announced!
With over 50 entries to the 2024 SBA Small Business of the Year awards, it was great to see so many different types of businesses doing amazing things. With inspiring entries from plenty of trades people, health professionals, real estate companies, cafes, hospitality and more, it was hard to choose the winners, but two businesses really stood out. Well done to Monsoon Solutions, our overall winner and our runner up Bishopdale Hearing. Hear their stories below.
SBA Small Business Accounting run their small business awards every year, looking for businesses that are doing great things, looking at their planning, their growth and challenges they have faced. If you are keen to enter next year, you need to be a customer of one of our local SBA branches.
This year's winners!
Richard and Chris Glover from Monsoon Solutions, a specialist water proofing business, took out the top prize as the Winners of the SBA Small Business of the Year 2024. Richard and Chris started their business in 2021 and have already seen substantial growth in a short time frame. Monsoon Solutions is a great example of how you can grow your business with a clear vision and careful planning in just 3 years.
Bradi Martin from Bishopdale Hearing was voted the Runner Up – SBA Small Business of the Year 2024. Bradi started her hearing and audiology business after years working for bigger chain companies. She had confidence in herself as a business owner, learning how to manage the “oversights” of the old companies she had worked for, to build a successful audiology business that has grown from strength to strength.

- Thirty-Nine Café, an Auckland icon that has been brought back to life by new owners, with an amazing facelift and new purpose.
- Ascent Chiropractor is a great holistic healthcare provider doing great things in Browns Bay, Auckland.

- Data Erasure is an Auckland based IT company who manage the data destruction of IT hardware and recycling of e-waste in an environmentally friendly way.
