SBA Newmarket is the original office opened by Mike Hartley in 2010. Since then Mike has also opened the Auckland CBD Mobile Accounting franchise.
Mike knows what is important to small businesses. He has over 20 years of experience in commercial banking and finance and has helped many clients with small to medium businesses. He also operated his own finance broking business for five years before establishing his first SBA office. He has a clear understanding of both the opportunities and challenges that small businesses face.
Like many of his clients, he is a small business owner and has been through the process of starting a successful new business not once but twice. He enjoys working with other small business owners and property investors to help them with their accounting and tax needs. His personal philosophy is that it’s about people not just business.
Mike is also an accredited Professional Business and Tax Advisor (PBTA) with the Accountants and Tax Agents Institute of New Zealand and holds an MBA from Auckland University.
