Tax Credits
Tax credits are the sums that may claimed to reduce the amount of tax to be paid.
Different types of tax credits that you may be eligible to claim:
- Donations tax credit
- Childcare tax credit
- Housekeeper tax credit
- Independent earner tax credit
- Tax credits for payroll donations
- Tax credit for income under $9,880 (removed from 1 April 2012)
- Tax credit for children (replaced with an “active income exemption” from 1 April 2012)
