ACCOUNTING ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with solid accounting knowledge and experience working in an accounting firm.

We are looking for a task oriented individual who has initiative and a strong customer service focus to join our Manukau branch team.

Working as part of a small team your responsibilities will include assisting with the management of client accounts, GST reconciliation, payroll and day to day enquiries from prospects, walk-ins and phone enquiries.

While the role involves a core element of transactional processing, accounts and client management, there will be plenty of opportunity for the right candidate to expand their responsibilities to include sole charge of the office and client meetings / interviews.

About you

Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting role, and be able to demonstrate:

• Good working knowledge of Excel and microsoft office products
• Xero accounting solutions expertise
• Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Strong process focus & problem solving ability
• Reconciliation & review skills
• Great communicator, smart, and approachable.
• Formal qualifications in accounting or finance will be an advantage.
