SBA Browns Bay
No hefty fees, no surprises.
I opened the Browns Bay office in March 2009 because, as a nation of predominantly entrepreneurial small businesses, there was an opportunity in the area for a street level, accessible accounting practice that caters to small business owners, including start-ups. Most of my clients are local residents but I also provide services to clients who live and operate further afield because SBA systems and online capabilities make it all very straight forward.
The message from business owners and operators that I work with is clear: they need to concentrate on their businesses instead of their back office but they don’t want to be confronted with an invoice for hefty fees following the usual annual or 2-monthly GST exchange with their accountants.
They want input and assurance that their operations are in order, and they want easy access to up-to-date figures. No surprises.
Business owners need to keep abreast of their profit and loss, cashflow, GST, and key financial information. For me, this is a given and I wouldn’t expect any less of my accountant! Neither should you. I also take an active interest in my clients’ businesses, ask questions and offer constructive advice on strategic issues as well as the numbers.
